summer learning blogs:Activity2 The Rules of engagement

So this activity is based on our dream job and what our dream job, is this is my dream job (We had to draw our dream job)Here's my dream job.

My dream job is to be a veterinarian world wide. The reason why I want to be a veterinarian because I love animals I want to give the animals that are sick and injured a chance to have a new healthy life. I know it would take a lot of time to be a veterinarian I would have to go to university for 4 years, but I'm willing to give it a shot in the future that's why I want to be a veterinarian in the future.

  1. Kia Ora Tahurangi,
Wow! What an amazing drawing! I love that you have spent the time to draw such a cool drawing. You said you wanted to be a veterinarian worldwide. What countries would you like to work in? You could work in Africa on lions and zebras or Asia with pandas and tigers! I think you if set yourself the goal of becoming a veterinarian you will be able to do it!
I’m looking forward to reading more of your blogs soon!

  2. Hi there Tahurangi,

Hope you’re having a good summer. My name is Jade F and I am one of the commenters from the Summer Learning Journey team!

I’m really impressed with your drawing of your dream job. That is amazing that you would like to be a veterinarian one day. Is there a type of vet that you would like to be exactly? Would you prefer to work with domestic animals, exotic animals or livestock animals? That’s good that you’ve set yourself a goal and have done your research on what you need to do in order to become a vet by going to university to study for 4 years.

Looking forward to reading more of your blog posts and keep up the good work.

    All the best,
    Jade F :)

  3. Kia Ora Tahurangi,

My name is Georgia and I am the cluster manager for the Kaikohekohe Cluster.

It's awesome to see you've been involved with the Summer Learning Journey this summer! I know the team here have really enjoyed reading the blogposts you've completed so far. I think your dream job is an incredible career to get into! Helping animals is such an important and rewarding job. It would also be amazing to be able to travel and work, going to countries with different native animals than New Zealand.

Just a friendly reminder that the programme runs until Friday 26th January so you still have just under a week to complete some more activities! We'd love to see some more blogposts from you soon!

Hope you've had a great holiday and are looking forward to going back to school to see your friends and teachers.

    Nga mihi
    Georgia
